Well after a week of short stints and at times frustrating attempts, I have all but prepared the plot for this year’s produce.

As I showed in a previous post there’s a new upper plot that was not used well last year. Now with it being south facing I hope it will improve my results

The existing lower plot is pretty much the same.

The question is what to grow. I have loads of seed packets including leftovers from last year and a few garden magazines.
I think it’s time to be adventurous. More new varieties should be on the table.

But all outdoor sowing should wait.
Even with 16C temps in the UK, this can change to much colder times with one more month till spring.

  1. Hi Nigel, You were well organised. Have you made a start on your garden this year?

No, it’s actually ticking along ok. I did buy a few seed packets early. Problem is too much rain

Thanks πŸ˜„ Let’s hope it’s productive. I heard somewhere recently that the UK might see drier summers with infrequent deluges of rain. We might have to learn new ways of water preservation

Yeah, but considering they can’t usually forecast in a week I will believe it when I see it πŸ˜†
